Yoga can be practised by anyone. For some it may be linked to ideas about lifestyle, philosophy or science. Others choose to practise yoga to keep fit, improve flexibility or simply to relax and unwind.  


My yoga teaching is based on traditional Hatha Yoga and is influenced by the work of Vanda Scaravelli and Moshe Feldenkrais.  I encourage students to listen to their bodies so that their practice is safe and effective.

My classes are suitable for all levels - postures are adapted for different levels of ability and we use props such as blocks, bricks, straps and chairs where appropriate.  In addition to asanas (yoga postures) we practise pranayama (breath work), meditative practices and deep relaxation.
